Human Genetic Databases: Guidelines on Biobanks: Emerging Consensus and Unresolved Controversies – 05.09.2007
This paper presents a comparative analysis of twenty-seven policies on biobanks. The paper is structured around the three separate stages of the biobanking process (collection, storage and use of both human biological samples and data) and for each stage, the research team focuses on salient issues that have been debated by scholars and have been addressed by the drafters of the policies.
Numerous other documents on human genetic databases are available on the GIAN website (type "genetic" or related topics into the search engine).
